Hi, I'm Mansee — founder of Playroots. 👋

By day, I work in pharmaceutical and oncology research, supporting studies that help patients and families facing cancer. That work shapes how I see the world — and what I believe matters most: connection, presence, and making the most of the little moments we share together.

When I became a mom, I wanted something different for my own kids. Less screen time. More wonder. Play that sparked creativity, kindness, and curiosity — instead of zoning them out. I searched for it, couldn't quite find it, and so I decided to build it myself, alongside my career and my family.

That's how Playroots was born.

Every Playroots kit is a hands-on, screen-free adventure designed for ages 3–7 — thoughtfully crafted for little hands and big hearts. From planting a garden of kindness to decorating seashells to exploring the world one passport stamp at a time, each kit turns ordinary afternoons into moments families remember.

Built to Give Back.

Giving back isn't an afterthought at Playroots — it's part of why we exist. Our very first donation went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, supporting children and families impacted by pediatric cancer, a cause close to my heart through my work in oncology research. A portion of every purchase continues to support children's causes, and we share each donation openly on our Giving Back page.
